I bought this app, only to be very disapointed with it. It sucks big time, I’d rather use the original camera as it doesnt freeze my phone.

Yeh i am sadly dissapointed that it freezes badly which makes it practically unuseable!

Great concept, terrible execution. I wish it were otherwise, as the basic Apple provided iPhone camera leaves plenty to be desired. The need for Snapture is there. Too bad Snapture is such a lousy program in its actual USE. The program requires too much memory and so constantly freezes on my iPhone 3G running 2.2.

Let’s face it, people jailbreak to get Winterboard, SSH, Boss Prefs, etc. I am not enough of a geek to know if these apps use up RAM in the background or not. I have no idea how to reduce the “background” activity, but I am NOT using Backgrounder and I am pushing my one and only e-mail/mobile-me account every 30 minutes. The FAQ on the Snapture web site is totally useless in solving the freezing and low memory problems with the program.

What I do know is that Snapture doesn’t work in my environment and constantly freezes and pops up memory alerts.

Until they can make it more memory efficient, I reluctantly removed it from my iPhone. I will try it again when and if they can make it actually do what they promise in a real world environment. I’m sure the app is great if it’s the only app on your phone. But real world, it sadly sucks.

Wesley, try transferring your pics to another folder, i had the same problem and when i cleared the 100APPLE pictures folder it finally started working like a champ!

1. They don’t allow apps that does something that some of their own apps

2. I can’t run Snapture on my iPhone 3G 2.1, it crashes before finishing loading. I already reinstalled it and same thing happens.
